To REGISTER TO VOTE! And for County-wide or lower office, most regulatory information and filing is handled by the County Auditor. This office also maintains an accurate list of candidates currently filed for upcoming elections, and Voting Statistics as well as being the primary repository of Voter Registration records. The Auditor acts as County Commissioner of Elections and administers all federal, state, and local elections that take place within the County. Responsibilities include such things as voter registration, absentee voting, recruitment of precinct election officials, counting ballots, receiving nomination papers, financial disclosure documents, and notifying voters of elections."
